Our Sheep

We raise wool sheep for fiber production and soil nutrient management using intensive rotational grazing practices. We shear our own sheep and small batch process the wool for local fiber artists and enthusiasts. This sweetie is Maggie.

Registered Cormo

Cormo wool is the result of cross-breeding Corriedale and Merino sheep, and is a fine fiber excellent for next-to-skin use similar to Merino. The fleece is white and typically between about 18 to 23 microns in diameter. It is among one of the favorites of hand-spinners, producing springy, uniform yarn. It can range from 3 to 5 inch staple length, and each sheep can produce 5 to 12lbs of fleece. In order front to back, Ramona, Maggie, Wren, Rhoda.
