Flower CSA - Summer 2024
Your choice of select Friday dates from June - August for 6 large bouquets and a fall pumpkin centerpiece, mason jar bouquet, or small dried flower wreath. You will be able to select 6 dates upon checkout (please view available dates in description below).
CSA’s are one of the best ways to support local farmers. Sales upfront for the season help us forecast demand for the year, and allow us to invest in the needed stock items to make the year a success, including seeds, plugs, bouquet wraps, and growing supplies.
A CSA Flower Subscription from the Bowie Flower Group is a lovely way to keep fresh flower all summer in your home, without having to worry about getting the market before we sell out! It also makes a fantastic give to a loved one. Our CSA bouquets are slightly larger than our Crofton Farmer’s Market bouquets, and ready to be placed in your favorite vase. All bouquets come hand wrapped and includes flower food. Our flowers are grown locally in Bowie and Upper Marlboro by our group farms, freshly cut, conditioned, and carefully selected.
We understand that the summer schedule is different for everyone, with vacations, weddings, and life in general. With a bit of pre-planning, we are flexible with your subscription! You can select our recommended schedule (every 2 weeks) or modify your subscription dates from the list below. For our fall products, you will be able to select Halloween, Thanksgiving, or a dried wreath for Christmas.
Recommended Schedule: (1) June 14, (2) June 28, (3) July 12, (4) July 26, (5) Aug 9, (6) Aug 23.
Alternative dates: May 24, Jun 7, June 21, Aug 30, or Sept 13.
Pick-ups are done in conjunction with the Millersville CSA pick-up schedule and location.
